Over the years our business has prospered
thanks in part to help received from friends, clients and other small
businesses. "Kelowna Live" is the name we are giving to a
series of developing concepts for promotional cross-marketing ideas.
Our vision is to find ways to not only promote ourselves but also promote
other locally owned small businesses who would like to partner with
us.
Cross-Marketing Opportunity
We offer compatible businesses (locally owned)
an opportunity to join us in mutual promotion. In exchange for placing
our pamphlets at your store, we will do the following to promote your
business:
1) Free Ad in Our Pamphlet Inserts
We presently (2007) have 31 locations in
Kelowna with our pamphlets. Each pamphlet has an insert and each insert
has small ads featuring participating businesses. If you allow us
to place our pamphlet at your location, we will add your business
to our inserts at no charge to you. This gives you approximately 550
free ads for your business being refilled every
month or approximately 6,000 free ads a year
going out into the community. Our pamphlets with business ad inserts
are also being distributed throughout Kelowna by Mini
Express Delivery which substantialy increases the number of potential
ads that could go out for your business every month. There is no
cost to you other than the use of a small amount of counter
space for our pamphlets.
2) Free Website Listing
As a participating business we will place an ad for your business
on our Community
Page of this website. If you have a website of your own, we will
place a link to it. The ad will have a small description of your business
along with contact information, location, hours of operation etc.

website (see bottom
of page).
3) Free Newsletter Feature
Every month we put out an Email
Newsletter to 675+ recipients who have signed up to be on our
mailing list. Our Newsletter is then published on our website. One
business is featured per month. Your business will be featured here
on a rotating basis. Our newsletter mailing list is constantly growing.
4) Free Ad in Our Business Update
Three to Four times a years we mail out a Business Update to all participating
businesses. We will place a free ad for your business here. This is
an opportunity to become known by other participating businesses.
