This new feature to our newsletter is an opportunity for our readers to ask Jamie Rosanna a question in regards to the inner process and the journey to healing.

Could
you explain the introductory stage of a Chakra Reading when a new person
comes in to see you?
This Month's Response:
When somebody comes into my studio to see me for a Chakra Reading, I become very vigilant in paying attention to the person in front of me. I start to get information that comes through. Most of the time the information comes to me intuitively from sensory perceptions. Part of it is just observing the person. This can be observing eye contact, body stance, the way the body shifts, things that are said, noticing if the person is a little bit shy or if they're overly anxious. So there's a whole range of observations and that's very true to the Chinese Medicine model, which I've studied. It all happens in a split second. The whole process is a spontaneous download.
Then the next thing that happens is a process of querying why they have come to see me. Are they aware of something specific or will we be going on an expedition of searching as they don't really know why they've come? Inevitably they know something is amiss. They want something more out of life. It's just that sometimes it's incredibly vague.
With the information coming to me, I begin to get a sense of what Chakras seem to be standing out. I can see that there are issues around a certain chakra. At times, one of the tools that I'll use at this point is muscle testing to actually test what the priority is. Muscle testing is a technique of touch and response from the body. It can be very helpful in identifying areas of resistance. So once I've zeroed in on a chakra that needs attention, then we can go on past the introductory stage of the session and move into the core of the work.
