The Kelowna Farmers' and Crafters' Market is becoming a yearly "Let's Go" feature in our newsletter and for good reason. It continues to be one of Kelowna's few locations where local farmers and crafters can sell their wares directly to the public. This
section of the newsletter, features locations of interest on the World
Wide Web that stand out as special "Net Gems."
Here's
a wonderful way to direct some of the energy we spend on the computer
towards a good cause. How often do you search the internet? Do you mostly
use Goggle for this purpose. What if every time you searched, you chipped
in a penny towards charity? A hundred people searching 10 times a day
would contribute $3650 a year to charity if they used GoodSearch.
For the time being GoodSearch is not international, so only US charities are available. They plan to go international soon but keep in mind that many US charities are international in nature. Some examples of participating charities include the following:

exactly is a Chakra Reading?

Chakras are energy centres flowing through the body. A "Chakra Reading" is an aid to personal growth and a way to track the root cause of blocked energy in the body. It is an interactive process that involves identifying, acknowledging and transforming the active energy manifested in each chakra. It is a highly effective way of addressing and integrating physical, emotional psychological and spiritual life issues.
Most chakra readings last an hour but longer session are available if required. They can take place in my studio or under some circumstances, I can come to a person's home. The fee for a Chakra Reading is $75.
